A fire injured two of three occupants in a boat on the Lake of the Ozarks in Morgan County on Friday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the flash fire occurred when the subjects reportedly attempted to start the Searay, which was being driven by 67-year-old David Zastera, of Laurie.
The report says 49-year-old William Walker, of Gravois Mills, sustained moderate injuries and 48-year-old Tracey Garcia, of Covington, Georgia, minor injuries. They were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
The boat was parked at the 8 mile marker of the Gravois Arm of the lake. The fire happened at about 7:30 p.m.
