The driver of a vehicle suffered a medical condition, and his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck the front side of the elementary school building in Norborne at about 9:45 a.m. on Monday, January 28.
Norborne R-8 Superintendent Troy Lentz praised his staff for reacting very fast to get the driver help.

Lentz described the damage to the building.

Lentz says one classroom won’t be usable until the damage is repaired, “but our teachers have worked together exceptionally well to make sure the students have a good environment to learn.”
