A Smithville woman sustained moderate injuries after suffering a medical condition and crashing her vehicle in Saline County on Thursday.
According the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 34-year-old Shauna Jacomne suffered a medical condition and her vehicle traveled off the roadway. The vehicle then went through a ditch, struck a culvert, then traveled across the outer road, through a fence and into a tree line. Jacomne was transported by EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred just after 10 a.m. on I-70 at the 81.8 mile marker.
