A burn ban is in effect in Knob Noster until further notice.

According to the Knob Noster Fire Department says the ban is in effect due to drought conditions.

It will take significant rainfall and improvement in local conditions to remove the burn ban. The burn ban includes all recreational fires, fire pits, and other open burning.
