The Spring 2024 Missouri Valley College Student Research Symposium, scheduled for April 29, will feature presentations of academic, creative, and professional work by students. This full-day event is free and open to everyone.

Around 150 students from various academic disciplines at MVC are expected to participate, offering a platform to showcase their achievements. Claire Schmidt, co-chair of the Symposium, noted the excitement surrounding the event, particularly with graduating seniors presenting their thesis research and capstone projects.

The Symposium has also introduced a new element: scholarships awarded to the top four participants, a initiative instituted by Missouri Valley College President Joe Parisi in Fall 2023, now a permanent feature of the event.
