Missouri Valley College Athletic Director Mike Machholz has announced the addition of archery to the shooting sports program for the 2024-25 athletic year, along with the hiring of John McEachern as Archery Head Coach.

Archery competitions will encompass five disciplines, including recurve, compound, barebow, traditional, and longbow. Missouri Valley College will compete in USA Archery, ASA Archery, and JOAD Archery. The 2024-25 athletic year marks the first season of team competition, with the college having previously experienced success in the sport through former athlete Evan Baker.
