A 54-year-old man, identified as Jerry J. McNary from Orrick, sustained injuries in an ATV accident on Saturday afternoon along Highway 10 in Ray County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated that McNary was driving a 2014 Polaris ATV northbound when it overturned while descending a steep embankment.

The incident occurred around 1:43 p.m., resulting in moderate damage to the ATV, which came to rest on its top. McNary, who was not wearing any safety gear, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol noted that following the incident, the vehicle was released to a friend.
