The Kansas City Royals fell to the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 on Monday, April 29. Both teams scored two runs in the first inning. The Blue Jays took the lead for good in
the third inning and held on for the victory. Freddy Fermin and Kyle Isbel homered for Kansas City. Royals starter Jonathan Bowlan went 2 ⅔ innings, allowing four runs on six hits with three walks. Kansas City has now lost three in a row, and fall to 17-13 on the season.
