A three-vehicle crash was reported in Cooper County on Friday, May 3.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Katelynn Reuter struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Russell Johnson, causing it to hit another vehicle that was attempting a turn.

Johnson was transported to University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 6:15 p.m. on Missouri 135 near Prairie Lick Road in Cooper County.
