Andrew Christopher Edgar “Ace” Finley, infant son of Matthew Christopher Finley and Leah Nicole Heermann Finley, was born on May 1, 2024, and passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Emma with Pastor Josh Payne officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to family choice with checks made payable to Matthew Finley.  The memorials will be used to help with funeral and medical expenses.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

In addition to his parents, Matthew and Leah; Ace is survived by his brother, John Robert “J.R.” Finley; maternal grandparents, Tod and Vicki Heermann of Oak Grove; paternal grandparents, John and Deborah Finley of St. Charles; maternal great-grandmother, Phyllis Heermann of Independence; paternal great-grandmother, JoAnn Hanneke of St. Charles; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Finley of St. Charles; aunts and uncles, Anna and Justin Scott of Grain Valley and Melissa and Ben Gibbs of St. Charles; four cousins: Hadleigh, Hayden and Soryn Scott and Harrison Gibbs; as well as many other extended family members.

Ace was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Ralph Heermann; maternal great-grandparents, Robert “Jack” and Shirley Schnieders; and paternal great-grandfather, John Hanneke.
