Dana Luedeman, 63, a resident of Emma, Missouri, formerly of Sweet Springs, Missouri, peacefully departed from this life on May 6, 2024, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2024, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, with Pastor Michael Pottschmidt and Pastor Andrew Lehenbauer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. She was born to Leonard and Roberta (Marchant) Harms on February 13, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, and spent most of her childhood in Sweet Springs.

Dana shared her life with Roger Luedeman, whom she married on December 2, 1977, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs. Their union epitomized enduring commitment and unwavering love, weathering life’s storms with grace and resilience.

A devoted mother, Dana leaves behind her children: Nathan Luedeman and his wife Brittany, Tia Weber and her partner Nathan McCurdy, and Tricia Harrington, along with her partner Dane Branson;  her beloved grandchildren: Shani Yoesel, Kaitlin Horstman, Hunter Luedeman, Trey Harrington, Seth Harrington, and Mya Luedeman; her sister, Debbie Meyer and husband Roger; and a nephew, Steven Harms and his wife Emma.

Dana was preceded in death by her parents, Roberta and Leonard Harms, and her brother, Steven Harms.

In her professional life, Dana served as a compassionate caregiver at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, where her dedication and empathy touched the lives of many. A graduate of the Boonslick Technical Education Center nursing program in 2004, Dana’s vocation was not merely a career but a calling to serve others with warmth and compassion.

Guided by her faith, Dana was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where her spirit and kindness enriched the community.

Dana Luedeman’s enduring legacy is one of boundless love and selflessness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. While she may no longer be present among us, her spirit will forever illuminate our lives with its radiant warmth. May she find eternal peace, knowing that her life was a beacon of hope and comfort to countless souls.
