Slater City Administrator Gene Griffith spoke to KMMO about Steve McQueen Day, which will be held on Saturday, June 15.

Registration for the annual Steve McQueen Day Car Show begins at 9 a.m. There are a total of 18 classes for the show, including a new Mustang class this year. Griffith encourages the public to attend and enjoy the free event.

The event will wrap up at around 3 p.m. Griffith said this is a family event, suitable for people of all ages.

The car show will be held on Main Street in Slater.
