An Armstrong man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Howard County on Wednesday, June 19.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Lance Brown slid across Route V in Howard County, and eventually traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The vehicle came to a rest on its top. Troopers say Brown was not wearing his seat-belt at the time of the accident.

Brown was transported to University of Missouri Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 7:18 a.m. on Route V, just east of County Road 237 in Howard County.
