Mark Francis Summers, 65, of Concordia, MO, died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2024, at St. John United Church of Christ in Emma, MO, with Pastor Josh Payne officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Born December 9, 1958, in Marshall, MO, he was the son of the late Richard B. Summers and Ida Rose Adams Summers. Mark was a 1976 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. On May 22, 1982, at St. John United Church of Christ, he married Pamela Sue Meyer who survives of the home. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and served on the church council. Mark had a sales career with Wonder Bread for many years. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Pam of the home; four sons, Patrick Summers of Concordia and Aaron Summers, Jacob Summers and Trent Summers all of Emma; two brothers, John Summers (Pam) of Lake of the Ozarks, MO and David Summers of Cameron, MO; three sisters, Liz Elson of Miami, MO, Janet Loges (Stanley) of Sweet Springs, MO and Rose Mary Crosswhite of Houstonia, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Wissel and Loretta Rennison.
