A Lexington native has graduated from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on June 21, 2024, and has been assigned within Troop A.

Trooper Bryce S. Lautenschlager, a native of Lexington, has been assigned to Zone 12, which serves the citizens of Johnson County. Trooper Lautenschlager graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Missouri, in 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from the University of Central Missouri, in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Lautenschlager will report for duty in his respective assignment on July 8, 2024.
