The Kansas City Royals fell to the Cleveland Guardians 7-2 on Saturday, June 29.

The Royals led 2-1 early, but the Guardians then scored six unanswered runs, pulling away to take the win.

Cole Ragans took the loss, giving up five runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings.

The Royals scored both of their runs off of solo homers Vinnie Pasquantino and Michael Massey.

The Royals fall to 46-39 and are eight games back of Cleveland in the division.
