Jerry Eugene Ronsley Sr. 74, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Legendary Nursing and Rehab in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakland Cemetery near Buckner, MO. Born May 10, 1950, in Ada, Okla., he was the son of the late Charles Ronsley and Virginia Fohn Ronsley Phillips. He was a U.S. Army veteran.  On July 4, 1974, he married Ethel Marie Fales who preceded him in death on March 6, 2020. Jerry liked to fish, watch movies and spend time with his family and grandkids.

Survivors include two children, Iona Jean Farris (Shawn) of Richmond, MO, and Jerry Eugene Ronsley Jr. (Joyce) of Marshall; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Alexandria, Kirstin, Clayton, Mackenzie and Geri; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Ronsley (Linda) and Ron Carson (Barbara); one sister, Kay Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Jerry was preceded in death by one son, Jason Lee Ronsley in August of 2003; two brothers, Homer Carson and Charles A. Ronsley; and two sisters, Karen Schlag and Thelma James.
