Missouri Department of Transportation crews will resurface Route 20 through Lafayette County beginning next week, resulting in traffic delays.

Crews will resurface the highway from Business Route 13 near the Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, east to Route W just north of Alma. The project will start Monday, July 8th and stretch until August 15th. Traffic in the work zone will be limited to one lane, with a flagging operation and pilot car in use. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones.
