The City of Blackwater is hosting the annual Madd Mayor Rod and Custom Car Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 6.

Cars can start lining up at 7:30 a.m. Mary Ann Schuster says entrants can register for the car show up until noon.

The Blackwater Lions Clubs will be serving fish and chips behind the Blackwater Ag Supply Store from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. as well.

There will also be a ribbon cutting for a historical building in the city.

The Blackwater Preservation Society will also host a BBQ Dinner following the ribbon cutting. All the funds raised from the meal will go toward the Wabash Caboose, which is on display at the Blackwater Depot.
