The Concordia Board of Aldermen held discussion over several upcoming sidewalk projects during its most recent meeting.

City Administrator Dale Klussman reported that the board gave authorization to enter into a sidewalk agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation for a project on the sidewalk between 2nd Street and 4th Street. This is a CDBG project the city plans to start in the near future.

The board also discussed the replacement of a sidewalk between Gordon Street, to the alley west of Gordon.

In other news, the board approved a request for use of Concordia Park for Farm to City Day, which is scheduled for Sunday, July 21.
