Shelby G. Lowe, 86, formerly of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, July 21, 2024, at The Boulevard of Wentzville in Wentzville, MO.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at First United Methodist Church in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Inurnment will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Asbury United Methodist Church in Vero Beach, FL. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born September 4, 1937, in St. James, AR, she was the daughter of the late William R. Grimes and Daisy L. Meeker Grimes. Shelby was raised in Harris, KS and was a graduate of Garnett High School in Garnett, KS. On July 25, 1955, she married Thomas Phillip “Phil” Bradley who preceded her in death on December 13, 1978. She and Phil moved to Marshall in 1956. On November 5, 1980, she married Alvin R. Lowe who preceded her in death on December 23, 2002. She moved to Vero Beach in 2005, living in Wentzville since 2022. While living in Marshall she was a secretary for Marshall Public Schools and the billing clerk at MMU. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was the former parish visitor and a member of the church choir. After moving to Vero Beach, she became a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and several Bridge clubs. Shelby was a world traveler and her love for traveling lives on in her family. She and Grandpa Alvin also introduced their grandchildren to camping, fishing and playing cards.

Survivors include one daughter, Ronna Solomon of Wentzville; two stepsons, Gary Lowe (Angela) of Benton, AR and Gregg Lowe of Trimble, MO; seven grandchildren, Erika Nicholson (Adam Boswell), Christian Lowe, Kelsey Barreto (Justin), Koby Lowe, Ben Bradley, Katie Urbanowicz (John) and Craig Solomon (Megan) ; three great-grandchildren, Bryson Barreto, Marley Urbanowicz and John Urbanowicz; one sister, Almeda Hermreck of Knoxville, TN; one brother, Jerry Grimes (Mary) of Alamogordo, NM; one sister-in-law, Barbara Kelly of Vero Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Shelby was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Phillip “Brad” Bradley II; a son-in-law, Mark Solomon; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Lowe.
