road-work-3-31-21

One new road project is set to begin Monday morning on a Howard County highway.

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will seal coat Route 87 between U.S. Route 40 north of Boonville and Route 240 just outside Glasgow. One lane will remain open through the work zone, where crews will flag traffic through. The project is expected to take no more than two weeks.

Crews will continue resurfacing projects this week on Routes 5 and 240 in Howard County, as well as on Routes 41 and K in Cooper County. Also in Cooper County, crews continue their project to repaint the bridges carrying Interstate 70 over the Lamine River.

Elsewhere in the region, a pair of bridges remain closed in Carroll County. The Route M bridge over the Grand River remains closed until October for a rehabilitation project, while work continues on the Route CC bridge over the Little Wakenda Creek.
